The aloe vera bloom is a small, but very attractive flower which grows on the leaf of the aloe vera plant. It has a long stalk which is usually green but can also be yellow or red. The aloe vera bloom can grow to around 3-5cm in length.
Once your aloe vera plant has matured and bloomed, it’s time to harvest these blooms. It is a good idea to harvest the blooms when they are at their most potent.
Aloe vera can be grown from cuttings or seeds. If you are planning to grow aloe vera from seeds, then it needs a period of 4 to 5 months of cold stratification before planting in your garden.
